Rising from the Moonlit Fog expands Hethereau with an explorable district, permanent side activities and another chapter of the Scarlet Letter story.

Neverness to Everness Version 1.3, Rising from the Moonlit Fog, went live after maintenance on August 19, 2026. Its central permanent addition is Duskmoor, a new Hethereau location containing Starfall Bay Resort and the open water of Tearlake.
The main story continues through the Fogden Game episode after Fighting a Dragon. Zankou joins as the update's limited S-Class character, with her Bond quests, City Hangouts, invitation mode and combat tutorial establishing more than a banner entry. The update also adds Stillmeadow House and outfit rotation, which can select a different owned costume after login or a scene change.
Several side activities were made permanent, including Mews Flash, Going, Going, Gone! and Shadow-n-Seek. The auction activity gained seasonal wealth and profit rankings, room conditions, quick chat and additional collectibles. These changes give the city systems more lasting value than a short event schedule.
Players returning through Steam, Epic, PlayStation, mobile or the official PC launcher should update the existing client and confirm the correct account before entering. Time-limited boards and event rewards have separate end dates, so their August launch schedule should not be read as permanent availability.
