Where Winds Meet entered its 2.0 phase with Hidden Mountain on July 23, 2026. The region follows Mohist themes, combining mountain routes, underground spaces and a suspended mechanical city with devices that must be observed and manipulated to open paths.
Gauntlets are the update's new weapon family. Everstone describes them as a close-range option built around rapid combinations and burst damage. Their Bamboocut Kite Martial Art works with Rope Dart, shifting between direct pressure and repositioning. That pairing is a useful example of the game's loadout design: two weapons should create a sequence or solve different ranges rather than duplicate one another.
The update also adds Mohist Hill as a sect, new bosses and the Celestial Seize exploration ability. Progression changes include Modulating Stones from salvaged Legendary Gear, easier automatic material selection, gear favorites and clearer material tracking. These quality-of-life changes matter because Where Winds Meet has accumulated many upgrade tracks since launch.
Everstone says it will continue adjusting Martial Art balance using player feedback. Build recommendations from earlier versions should therefore be checked against the current in-game descriptions before scarce materials are committed.
