Gravity Game Unite, the Malaysia-based Gravity subsidiary, launched Ragnarok Zero: Global on 18 August 2026 across Southeast Asia, Europe and Oceania. The PC MMORPG runs as one service for all three regions.
The game builds on the original Ragnarok Online, including its 2D pixel graphics and class system, and adds new episodes, auto-hunting and an updated interface. Launch content included the six classic first jobs, monthly MVP Raids, a revamped guild experience system and the new Nordfeld region with its own crafting.
The service uses a subscription model, which Gravity says is intended to reduce pay-to-win pressure compared with many free-to-play MMORPGs. It supports eight languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Thai and Indonesian.
Connected services launched alongside it. Get Poring lets players collect and raise Porings and monsters for use as pets, and RO Factory lets players create their own footwear items. Gravity also published a year-one roadmap covering second jobs, level cap expansions, new dungeons and regions, and the Ninja class in 2027.
