Ragnarok The New World launches in Southeast Asia and arrives on Steam

Gravity Game Vision launched Ragnarok: The New World for PC and mobile in Southeast Asia on July 16, 2026. The announcement identified native PC, Google Play and App Store routes and described the release as the first open-world MMORPG based on the Ragnarok IP.

Steam records a separate July 26 release. Its version requires a Gravity account created through the game launcher and lists cross-platform multiplayer, in-app purchases and chance-based purchases.

The launch version centers on eight jobs, including the new Druid, plus free job switching, offline hunting, safer refinement, player trading and MVP monsters that can become mounts. Steam asks for 30 GB of available storage, with 12 GB RAM listed as minimum and 16 GB RAM recommended; its processor, graphics and operating-system requirement fields remain blank.

Availability should be checked against the relevant regional service. Gravity's July 16 announcement specifically covered Southeast Asia, so that date should not be treated as proof that every territory launched simultaneously.
